Few days ago Lega Basket Serie A team Grissin Bon Reggio Emilia made official the signing of Michael Dixon. The American-Georgian guard comes from Bnei Herzliya in Israel and arrives in Italy in order to save the bad season of Reggio Emilia. (Sportando reports)
The 28-year-old guard has a great experience in Europe as he have already played with Bahcesehir in Turkey, Strasbourg in France, AEK Athens in Greece, Nymburk in Czech Republic, Dzukija and Pieno in Lithuania.
This is a key market move for Reggio because, as ballersabroad.com writes,
Reggio Emilia is in need of a playmaker, because while they currently sit in fifteenth place out of 16 teams in the Lega Basket SerieA standings with a 5-14, they are only four games back of a playoff spot.
