The 2018/2019 Serie A1 Women season featured 12 teams from across Italy, but some weeks ago Napoli Basket stopped to play because of their financial problems, so now we have only 11 teams playing in the top italian league for women.

At the end of the regular season the first 6 teams qualify for playoff quarter finals. Teams in positions 7-10 will play the qualification round and the two winners will go to the playoff quarter finals. No one will be relagated this season.
