Jamelle Hagins leaves Reyer Venezia

The american center Jamelle Hagins leaves Serie A and Basketball Champions League team REYER VENEZIA and joins AFYON BELEDIYE, a Turkish second division team.

As Sportando reports, the American big man won the Serie A title with Venezia, anyway the 2016/2017 has been an unlucky season for Hagins, who suffered a a second-third grade left knee sprain on March.

Good luck, Jamelle!

Probably we made a mistake ignoring the Basketball Champions League, but now the Final Four  is here and we try, somehow, to cancel our mistake.

Last summer FIBA thought Basketball Champions League could fight with Euroleague as most important league in Europe, but now it’s clear this is a target impossible to get. In our opinion Champions League is an interesting tournament, but we can compare it with Eurocup, not with the Euroleague.

Tenerife, Spain, EU

This is a magic season for Tenerife, as they already got their place in the Liga ACB post season. Tenerife coach Txus Vidorreta is set to change team at the end of the season as he could move to Barcelona. Anyway, now he is focused on this Final Four.

Reyer Venezia, finally, has a strong team, so strong they will try to win the Italian title. On Friday night Walter De Raffaele‘s boys are te underdog, but, believe is, this is a great group with many interesting player. One guy to look at? Jeff Viggiano.

Eleven days to Basketball Champions League Final Four

On Friday, April 28, Basketball Champions League Final Four will start in Tenerife, Spain, EU. The 4 teams involved are: Banvit, Monaco, Iberostar Tenerife and Reyer Venezia. Semifinals are Banvit vs Monaco and Tenerife vs Venezia, but what about the final? Everybody see Tenerife as clear favorite to win the title, but we suggest to look at Reyer Venezia, one of the best team in Italy.

April is month full of interesting games for european basketball lovers. So many games, but anyway we are set to find space also for this Basketball Champions League Final Four and, by the way, go Reyer!
