The work of Bagatskis in Nizhny Novgorod was very interesting. He produced a team with a really functional offense, with a lot of assists and good 3 point stats. He got betrayed by the teams’ defense (turnovers were also quite frequent) but this was not so much his fault; it is very difficult to persuade Russian players to play good defense.
Interesting choice and all the best for Maccabi against Baskonia.
