Time to bet

It’s 5.00 PM in Italy, the right time for a cup of tea and for placing a bet on basket.  One bet? Surely not, I am placing more than one bet.

Portland Trail Blazers (20-19) vs Milwaukee Bucks (20-18): as we can read in nba.com the Trail Blazers look to avoid a season-high fifth consecutive loss overall. In the last days they lost against Golden State, Oklahoma City, Denver and Cleveland. Tonight the Blazers are without Meyers Leonard and Elliot Williams, both injured.
This is the first meeting between portland and Milwaukee this season, with the Bucks securing two wins in 2011-12. I choose the Bucks here, stake 7 with an handicap of 4.5 points, so I can win my bet even if Portalnd win with 4 points or less.  Milwaukee stake 7 (+4.5) @ 1.82.

Utah Jazz (21-19) vs Cleveland Cavaliers (10-31): no chance for the Cavaliers at the EnergySolutions Arena of Salt Lake City.  Utah stake 6 (+4.5) @ 1.20.

Atlanta Hawks (20-19) vs San Antonio Spurs (31-11): Spurs without the star Manu Ginobili, but with a wonderful starting five at the Philips Arena of Atlanta: Tony Parker, Danny Green, Tiago Splitter, Tim Duncan and Kawhi Leonard. Checking the news in internet I just found that  The Spurs have won 10 of their last 11 against the Hawks and five of their last seven in Atlanta as we can read in The Bellingam Herald. Just what I was looking for before backing away team. San Antonio stake 8 @ 1.55.

Portland – Milwaukee 104-110 +5.74
Utah – Cleveland 109-98 +1.20
Atlanta – San Antonio 93-98 +4.40
