The Italian Monday Night

It’s 8:00 of Saturday morning now in Italy, no hope to see my bookmaker publishing odds for NBA until 11:00. A good reason for placing a bet on Italian Serie A, the top Italian basketball league.

Regular season – matchday 8
Monday, November 19, 2012 – 20:30 cet
(cet: central europe time)

Cremona (2-5) is one of the worst teams in Serie A. Their target is to avoid a relegation place, as at the end of the season one team will be relegated. No chanches for them to get a playoff place, the prize for the first 8 teams of the regular season. Until now Cremona defeated Montegranaro and Avellino, two clubs involved in relegation battle, but Attilio Caja’s boys lost the 5 games against top teams.

Milano (3-4) is a strange team. They are thought to play for the title, but they have a poor 3-4 record. The week has been terrible for Olimpia Milano fans as the team lost againt Venezia in Serie A and against Efes in Euroleague. Anyway, they can easily win in Cremona.

The match is broadcasted live in Italy by two TV channels: Sportitalia 2 e La7d.

No problem for Langford and his team mates. Match report by Corriere dello Sport (in Italian).
